Fill in the form below and write a short pitch about why your business deserves to win and how an Orega office in Glasgow will help your business grow.
Stage 2: Five businesses will be shortlisted
You'll receive a follow-up call to answer questions about your entry. Orega will use your answers and your initial entry to select 5 businesses to take part in the final pitch.
Stage 3: The Final Pitch
Each finalist will pitch their business to a panel of business experts. The format for the final pitch will be a 10-minute presentation followed by a 20-minute Q+A with the judges.
“It was a great experience pitching in the final of the Aberdeen competition and I’d advise anyone who’s tempted to enter Orega’s next one in Glasgow to do so. The opportunity to develop your elevator pitch and tell your business’s story in front of a panel of expert judges was invaluable - winning an office in a really nice building was the cherry on top.”
“We knew we had a good business idea, but pitching to the judges in Orega's #StartMeUp Pitch competition gave us that confirmation and started a chain reaction for us. We had taken our business seriously beforehand and winning the office space provided us with a professional base to really get us going. We stay in touch with Orega and having rented offices before we can honestly say these guys know how start-ups work and how to support them."
Meet one of our StartMeUp Pitch judges, Nick Cohen, founder of PCR and IT Customer Director at Arrow Business Communications. We asked him a few questions about his experience starting a business and what he’s looking for in our #StartMeUpGlasgow competition.
