We’re looking for an experienced, commercially aware and highly people-focused Area Operations Manager to lead operational performance across our centres in Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.
This is a hands-on regional leadership role with real visibility and impact. You’ll be the first point of contact for your assigned centres and Centre Managers, while also running your own home centre. You’ll lead from the front on service excellence, team performance, client relationships, operational compliance and commercial focus, ensuring every centre delivers the high standards Orega is known for.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong multi-site operator who thrives in a fast-paced, service-led environment. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, support centre teams across a key Northern region, and play an important role in driving consistency, engagement, performance and client experience across the portfolio.
Acting as the operational lead for your assigned regional centres and the first point of escalation for Centre Managers.
Running your home centre day to day, ensuring the building, systems, compliance activity and service delivery all operate smoothly and professionally.
Leading, coaching and supporting Centre Managers and centre teams to consistently achieve Orega standards and centre objectives.
Managing escalated client issues and people matters confidently, fairly and in a timely way.
Driving service excellence across the region, including customer satisfaction, audit performance, compliance standards and strong execution of move-in and move-out processes.
Supporting commercial performance by maintaining an overview of occupancy, renewals, service levels and centre profitability, and identifying risks or opportunities early.
Ensuring centres are fully resourced, rotas are effective, training is completed and team members are developed to perform at their best.
Overseeing Health & Safety implementation and operational compliance across your home centre and supporting standards across the wider region.
Conducting regular 1:1s, supporting performance management activity and recognising strong performance within your teams.
Working closely with the wider leadership and operations teams, attending monthly Area Operations Manager meetings and quarterly leadership updates, and travelling to other Orega centres when needed.
Proven experience in an Area Manager, Regional Manager or senior multi-site operations role within a service-led environment.
Strong leadership capability, with experience managing managers as well as frontline teams.
A track record of delivering high service standards while maintaining strong operational discipline and commercial focus.
Confidence handling escalated client issues, people matters and performance conversations.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple locations, priorities and stakeholders effectively.
Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to spot performance gaps and drive improvement.
Experience in customer-focused sectors such as flexible workspace, serviced offices, hospitality, retail, property or B2B service environments would be highly advantageous.
A hands-on, visible leadership style and willingness to travel regularly across Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds.
Good understanding of compliance, audits, Health & Safety responsibilities and people management processes.
