Alan has 20 years’ experience of delivering profitable growth in the flexible workspace sector. His career spans leadership roles in private equity-backed and AIM-listed businesses, guiding significant expansions, fundraisings and corporate development. As CEO of Avanta, he oversaw the delivery of industry-leading customer service. At essensys, Alan was pivotal as CFO & COO for five years. Alan is married with three teenage daughters. Outside of Orega he is a keen sailor and skier and, occasional golfer.
Chris joined Orega in 2021 as Chief Financial Officer, managing all financial actions for the company. Chris is a qualified and chartered accountant. He brings with him over fifteen years’ experience previously working in various financial roles for Terra Firma, Labtech, Thomas Cook and KPMG. Chris is a father of two young children, he enjoys spending his free time with his family, cooking and playing tennis.
David is Chief Operations Officer at Orega, with more than 25 years' experience in flexible workspace and workplace technology. He oversees Orega's UK portfolio, focusing on customer experience, technology, property delivery and scalable growth. Previously Chief Customer Officer at essensys, where he led its US expansion, David also held senior roles at Avanta and MWB Business Exchange. At Orega, he uses data, automation and AI to simplify operations and enhance the customer experience.
Ben joined Orega in November 2021 and is responsible for managing and growing our real estate portfolio. Prior to joining Orega, he was Group Head of Property at Clarendon Business Centres, having previously held senior roles at Avison Young and Strutt & Parker. With extensive experience across the UK flexible workspace and wider real estate sectors, Ben brings a strong track record of delivering growth and creating value. He is a passionate advocate for the role of flexible workspace in supporting both landlords and occupiers, and believes the time is now for the sector to realise its full potential.
Sophie has over 18 years’ experience in the flexible workspace sector, including 13 years at the Instant Group. During her time at Instant, Sophie led the global sales teams before taking on the role of Global Operator Relationships Director, working closely with workspace providers across the industry. Her previous roles include Commercial Director at both Work.Life and Huckletree, where she was responsible for driving growth across sales, marketing and operations. At Orega, Sophie supports retention, sales operations, and the design and fit-out of new buildings.
Andrew joined Orega as a board advisor in October 2022, bringing with him an impressive reputation in the real estate sector. He was previously the Chief Executive of the Howard de Walden Estate, a £4.6 billion commercial and residential property portfolio in Marylebone. Prior to that, Andrew built a successful 30-year career at JLL as a senior real estate investment specialist, advancing to Head of the Capital Markets Division and later became Deputy Chair of the UK Business. He has also held significant industry positions, including Chairman of the Investment Property Forum and the RICS Commercial Property Forum.
