The city doesn’t stop for much, but free ice cream? That’s another story. Earlier this summer, Orega teamed up with ice cream brand, Mister Twist, to bring a little extra joy to the London lunchtime rush. Judging by the queues and 700 ice creams snapped up, we’d call it a pretty sweet success.
Over two days, we brought our ice cream takeover to two City hotspots, kicking things off on day one at Finsbury Square Garden in Moorgate, just moments away from Citypoint, the newest addition to Orega’s office portfolio. The following day, we headed to The Old Bailey, situated just outside our Twenty Old Bailey Centre. The menu was packed with some crowd-pleasers, from the nostalgic Classic 99 and fruity Raspberry Ripple to refreshing Strawberry and Lemon sorbet and infamous Dubai Chocolate, being so popular that it was our first flavour to sell out. And ice cream wasn’t the only treat up for grabs, we also handed out complimentary meeting room vouchers to give our city neighbours a little taste of what Orega has to offer.
The working day can be a whirlwind of meetings, deadlines and overflowing inboxes. Sometimes all it takes to break up the mundane routine is a moment to step outside and enjoy a well-earned treat. From the moment the activation got underway, there was a real buzz in the air.

This is precisely what made our collaboration with Mister Twist so special. For Orega, it was about meeting other businesses and employees in the local area and in a place where the pace rarely slows and everyone seems to be going somewhere, we wanted to give people a reason to pause.
To round off the activation, two lucky winners were selected, with one winning an ice cream delivery for their office, and the other taking home a £250 John Lewis voucher. Our team dropped by in person to deliver the good news to the lucky two, and it’s safe to say they had plenty to smile about.
This is just one of the ways we’re bringing the Orega experience beyond our workspaces and into the local communities around us.
