Orega has finalised its 12th Serviced Office in one of Chancery Lane’s most important historic sites: the legal centre of England, the “Serjeants Inn”, now known as 5 Chancery Lane.

The site for 5 Chancery lane dates back to the early 15th century and was occupied by the Serjeants of Law: the highest-ranking members of the English bar along with the King’s Counsel. The original building sadly fell victim to the Great Fire of London in 1666 and its replacement was also gutted by incendiary bombs in 1941. The building that stands today in EC4A features a wonderful 1900s facade and becomes Orega’s 5th serviced office in London and 2nd English Heritage blue plaque building in the group.

5 Chancery Lane is located in the heart of the legal quarter next door to Kings College at the junction with Fleet Street and is bringing 21,500sqft of prestigious, stylish serviced office space into this key business district. The fit-out brings a fresh innovative interior to a historic London landmark and will be opening it’s doors in June/July 2013. The building’s primary feature is the glass atrium through the centre of the 6 storey building lined with decorative plants looking down onto an indoor garden, giving this London office space a fresh, calming environment.
