The simple points you should stick to is making the letter only one page long, include your contact details and ensure it is clearly laid out and easy to read. Say why you’re best for the job, what attracted you to the company, your top qualities backed up with evidence and emphasise your enthusiasm/individuality – nothing worse than it sounding boring and generic.
